Payouts are only available in countries where Stripe Connect is supported. You must also complete Stripe's Connect onboarding and provide any identity, bank account or tax documentation Stripe requires for your country. If Stripe does not support your country of residence, you can still create a KIND page, but you cannot receive payouts through KIND.

Eligible recipients receive the amount associated with their KIND transactions through the configured payout system. Payout timing can depend on the payment provider and your account status.

Yes. KIND QR Studio lets you create a branded QR experience that links directly to your KIND page.

For Free recipients, KIND's standard platform fee is 7% of the tip. KIND Plus recipients receive a 0% KIND platform fee while their Plus subscription is active.

For a standard Free tip, €7 is the KIND platform fee and €93 goes to the recipient, before any applicable payment-processing or other provider-level costs.

The 7% platform fee funds the KIND platform. Referral rewards, when applicable, are paid from this existing platform-fee allocation rather than being added on top of the 7%.

Stripe may charge payment-processing fees. These are separate from KIND's platform fee and depend on the applicable Stripe pricing and payment method.

Tax is calculated by Stripe based on your billing location and the local rules that apply there. The final total, including any tax, is shown clearly before you confirm the payment.

KIND Plus is KIND's subscription plan for recipients who want to receive tips with a 0% KIND platform fee while their Plus subscription is active.

KIND Plus costs €9 per month, subject to the applicable tax treatment shown at checkout.

Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the subscription management controls in your dashboard. Cancellation timing and access are handled according to the KIND Plus Terms.

Yes. KIND Plus subscriptions are billed through Stripe Billing, which provides the applicable subscription invoice.

Eligible users can earn referral rewards when people they refer become qualified KIND recipients. Rewards are calculated according to the current KIND Referral Terms.

A referral becomes qualified only after the referred person successfully receives at least one eligible tip. A signup, click or profile creation alone does not qualify.

Tier 1 can earn 1% of the base tip amount from qualified referral activity, according to the Referral Terms.

Tier 2 unlocks after 100 qualified direct referrals, subject to the applicable Referral Terms.

When unlocked, Tier 2 can earn 2% of the base tip amount according to the current Referral Terms.

No. Referral rewards are part of the existing 7% KIND platform-fee allocation. They do not create an additional fee for the payer.

Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment provider. KIND does not require you to provide your full card details directly to KIND.

Your payment information is entered and handled through Stripe's secure checkout. KIND's own systems store the transaction record, not your full card details.

Payment status is confirmed through the payment provider. If a payment fails, is refunded or becomes disputed, the transaction status is updated accordingly.

Refunds are handled according to KIND's refund policy and the payment provider's process, as described in the Payer Terms. Where applicable, related referral rewards are reversed.

KIND is an appreciation and tipping platform — a way to say thank you with a small payment. It is not positioned as a charitable donation service.

Tax treatment depends on the payer, recipient, transaction structure and applicable local law. KIND tips should not be assumed to be tax deductible — please seek appropriate tax advice where necessary.
